Step 1

Visit any branch of the Industrial Bank of Korea (IBK) near your location.

Step 2

Bring the following documents:

• Residence Card (Alien Registration Card) or Passport
• If you bring your passport, you must also bring:
  1. Visa Issuance Certificate
  2. Housing Rental Contract or University Residence Confirmation
• Certificate of Enrollment
• A photo of yourself, emailed to: ibktax643@ibk.co.kr
• Printed Official Letter of Cooperation (provided by the Graduate School office)

Step 3

At the bank branch, you will be asked to complete and sign the following forms:

• Personal Information Processing Agreement
• Bank Transaction Agreement
• Guide to Virtual Asset Rules
• Bank Account Opening Contract
• Direct Payment Card (Check Card) Application Form
• Card Reporting Form
• Identity Verification Form
• Transaction Confirmation Form
• IBK Bank will provide all these forms—you just need to sign them.

Step 4

You can pick up your student ID card at the Seoul Campus.
